St. Anthony Falls Tour and Train Ride

What: Train ride and tour of the St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam, the falls, and Stone Arch Bridge. This is one of the most historically significant areas of our state. Come and find out why!

Where: We will depart from and return to Coon Rapids Riverdale commuter rail station (located behind Target in Coon Rapids)

When: Sunday, September 20, 2015, 12:00PM - 5:16PM

Who: Pack 508 Cub Scouts and their families

Cost: $2.00 per Youth/Cub Scout (6-12) and $6.00 per adult or $13 per family

What to bring:

• Class A uniform (blue or tan Scout shirt)
• Drinking water
• Snacks
• Clothing appropriate for the weather and hiking
• Camera
• Sunscreen / hat

Details:

The outing consists of the following adventures:

1. Ride the North Star Commuter train and light rail to the Government Plaza Station in Minneapolis
2. Tour the St Anthony Falls Lock and Dam
3. Hike across the historic Stone Arch Bridge.
4. Ride light rail and the North Star Commuter train back to Coon Rapids

The North Star Commuter train departs Coon Rapids Riverdale Station at 12:15PM and returns from Target Field at 5:18PM. Tickets may be purchased on the platform. Arrive at 12:00 to give yourself time to purchase tickets and cross over the tracks to the South-bound line (we can't hold the train).
