Scout Sunday 2014

posted Jan 19, 2014, 6:18 PM by Cub Scout   [ updated Jan 19, 2014, 6:20 PM ]

Scout Sunday has been a tradition in churches during the month  of February when BSA celebrates the anniversary of its founding in 1910.

This is the first Sunday in February in most churches, when our Pack will be camping at Camp Ajawah.  Our Pack has been invited to attend the United Methodist Church of Anoka on the second Sunday in February when they celebrate Scout Sunday during worship service.

We will partner with Pack 516 for this event.  Scouts will have an opportunity to greet, usher, hand out bulletins, and show our Scouting Spirit.  Scouts can sign up here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094BA5A82EA4FB6-scout

The United Methodist Church of Anoka is located at 850 South St in Anoka (about 20 minutes from Ham Lake).  Map: https://goo.gl/maps/2gNTj

About the Church: The United Methodist Church is a mainline christian denomination which welcomes everyone.  The United Methodist Church is the second largest supporter of Boy Scouts (behind LDS) with over 10,000 chartered units and over 360,000 registered youth.
