Three Rivers District is sponsoring a daycamp for Cub Scouts, "A Day at Logging Camp". This is a fun event for the scouts to try log climbing, winter games, dutch oven cooking, animal tracking, tomahawk throwing, wrist rocket shoot, and various other winter activities. Hopefully there will be enough snow for sliding. See more information at the link.

Three Rivers District Winter Quest
Theme: "A Day at the Logging Camp"
Date: Saturday, February 18, 2012
Location: Rum River Scout Camp
Cost: $18 Scout (need to be BSA registered), $12 adult
(I have asked if lunch is provided, or if we need to bring a bag lunch. Awaiting reply.)

We plan to register/attend as a Pack. Please register by Jan 28 at the Pinewood Derby.

As with all BSA events, both Health Forms and Permission slips need to be completed (see attachments). These are mandatory for every participant and must be submitted the day of the event. Please get these completed early and submitted to both leaders (pdf via email is best). Let us know if you have already submitted a Health Form for the Pack records. Finally, the fee for the event will be debited from your scout account. Be sure your Scout Account has enough funds or you will not be registered. See Treasurer, or your Den Leader for more information regarding your Scout Account. See you at Logging Camp!
